If you would like to volunteer for PlayTorbay over the summer holidays and join in the fun we are holding two Volunteer Training courses:

Course 1

This is a basic introductory course that will consider the roles and responsibilities of a volunteer when supporting children and young people’s play. It will introduce learners to the nature of freely chosen play and the role and consider the responsibilities of the volunteer in supporting children and young people’s play within a range of play settings.

It is a five hour course delivered over two days (2 x 2.5 hrs) with appropriate breaks. Refreshments provided.

There is a small reflective account to be undertaken by the volunteer when on placement before certification.

It is organised and delivered by Playwork Partnerships at the University of Gloucestershire.
