Play Torbay Barton HAF

Play Torbay is part of the government’s Healthy Holiday and Food programme, and we will be offering lots of different play activities over the Summer Holidays as well as providing a healthy lunch, with fun tips about good food to eat. It is open to all children aged 4 - 16 years old. Please book here.

Each Tuesday during the four weeks we will be doing a special coach trip to Indigos Play & Ecology Centre for Bush Craft Nature Days As well as the fantastic playground there will be lots of nature activities on offer including:

  • whittling and bushcraft skills

  • toasting marshmallows

  • foraging, planting and growing

  • eco crafts

  • willow weaving

  • scavenger and bug hunts

  • creating a home-made waterslide

Transport will be provided from Barton Cricket Club and the same start and finish times apply.

Tickets are free for any child eligible for free school meals, and £2.00 otherwise.

Please note that parents or carers need to stay with any children under the age of 8 but dont need to book themselves.

Here are some of the opportunities we will be including in our programmes:

Physical, outdoor activities: ball games, football, skittles, Jenga, water play and free play, Practical activities: building dens, clay work, junk modelling, Lego. working with willow and bush craft skills
