Forest School Lead Job Vacancy

We are very excited to announce that we have a job vacancy for our Forest School service. Play Torbay is a small charity that provides fun and accessible play opportunities throughout the year. We offer various activities such as playground adventures, weekly clubs and special events in our community.

We are looking for a skilled, experienced and enthusiastic Forest School Practitioner to take over developing and delivering this exciting programme. The practitioner will be self-motivated and a good communicator, able to confidently liaise with engage groups of children ranging in age and with varying needs and abilities. The role involves delivering a 2.5 hour Forest School workshops every Wednesday morning during term time from:

• 24th June – 22nd July 2026 (5 sessions)
• 9th September – 16th December 2026 (14 sessions)

We are able to offer this opportunity on either a freelance basis or a fixed-term contract, depending on circumstances. A full Enhanced DBS check will be required.

SALARY: £18 per hour £35,100 pa pro rata

HOURS OF WORK: 6 hours a week, flexible

RESPONSIBLE TO: Operations Manager

LOCATION: In person at Indigos Playground, Brixham
